Summary

Leuprolide (leuprorelin) is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist supplied in formulation-specific depot medicines. The Australian Lucrin PDS product and the TGA-assessed Eligard formulation differ in route, indication, release system, and supplied diluent. Clinical-trial findings and instructions for one formulation should not be transferred to another.
